Product Description
This product, 7-deaza-dGTP, is a nucleotide analog and a candidate substrate for progressive telomerase. It can enhance PCR (polymerase chain reaction) yield; when the template is rich in GC content (i.e., contains abundant secondary structures), partially replacing dGTP with 7-deaza-dGTP in PCR can increase the yield of amplification products. In the dideoxy chain-termination sequencing method, this product can substitute for dGTP, thereby overcoming the compression issue encountered during gel electrophoresis when sequencing fragments with high GC content.
